Pickled Beets

Ingredients:
  • Beets - cooked and sliced - 4 quart
  • Vinegar - 3 cup
  • Water - 2 cup
  • Sugar - 2 & ½ cup
  • Allspice - 2 tsp.
  • Cinnamon - 1 stick
  • Whole Cloves - ½ tsp.
  • Salt - 1 tsp.
Directions:
  1. Boil all ingredients together (except beets) for 15 minutes.
  2. Add beets and simmer for 5 min. more.
  3. Jar and seal.
