Creamy Broccoli Soup

- Chopped Onion - ¼ cup
- Margarine - 1 Tbsp.
- Milk - 2 cup
- Cream Cheese (cubed) - 8 oz.
- Velveeta (cubed) - ¾ lb.
- Chopped Broccoli (cooked and drained) - 1 pkg.
- Pepper - a dash
- In 2-quart saucepan, sauté onions in marg. until tender.
- Reduce heat to medium.
- Add milk and cream cheese; stir until cream cheese is melted.
- Add remaining ingredients; heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally.
- Can substitute chopped spinach, cauliflower, or asparagus spears for broccoli.
