Green Tomato Pickles

Ingredients:
  • Vinegar (white) - 1 quart
  • Water - 3 quart
  • Salt - 1 cup
Directions:
  1. Bring this mixture to a full boil, until salt is dissolved.
  2. While this mixture is cooling, put dill weed, garlic clove, and ½ or 1 hot pepper (according to taste) in bottoms of sterilized jars.
  3. Now add washed green tomatoes (whole, sliced, or quartered) uncooked.
  4. Pour the above mixture into jars and fill to top and then seal.
