Ingredients:
  • Cukes - 6 quart
  • Vinegar - 1 quart
  • Onion - 6
  • Salt - 1 cup
  • Tumeric - 1 Tbsp.
  • Celery Seed - 1 Tbsp.
  • Sugar - 6 cup
Directions:
  1. Combine cukes, onions, and salt and let stand for 3 hours or whatever.
  2. Drain
  3. Boil vinegar, sugar, tumeric, and seeds.
  4. Pour over drained cukes. Heat but do not boil. Pack while hot.
  5. Pack while hot.
  6. Add red peppers or pimento to make them pretty. Also jar of horseradish if you like.
